Did English soccer superstar David Beckham copy Warriors winger Henry Fa'afili with his corn braid hairstyle?

 

Beckham's corn braid hairstyle has grabbed British media attention, but Fa'afili has had his version of it since 2001. The Warrior says he has few clues to any suggested link between the styles. 

 

"I've heard about his new hairstyle but I haven't seen it yet," he said. "But a few of the boys have been joking about it, saying that he's seen me and he's copying."

 

Fa'afili said Beckham may have gone for the distinctive corn braid hairstyle look for reasons similar to his own: to keep his long hair out of his eyes while sweating it out on the field.
