Brilliance in colour & condition.. hair style edge this season.hair style shapes are strong with highly chiselled edges, says Erin Walters, style consultant for Hamilton Rodney Wayne. Although hair styles appear to have more length and weight, they are still highly texturised. Clever layering techniques give versatility and maximum shine.

Curls return strongly for this winters hair styles. From tousled glossed waves to serious Nicole Kidman spirals, they are encouraged from the temples down to get a look that is in. During the past two seasons, curls nudged in on glamorous occasions; this winter the curl hair style comes into its own. It's now an everyday style option, Erin says.
Cutting techniques enhance curly hair, discourage frizz, and encourage waves and ringlets. Because curly hair style doesn't shine like smooth hair, rich colour options like chocolates and mochas gives it reflection, she says.
Colour options for dark hair this winter include deep chocolates with hidden panels of cranberry or aubergine. Different shades of chocolate are used to bring emphasis to the shape of the style style and maximise shimmer, Erin says.
Light brown to dark blonde hair benefits from a scattering of Antique Gold amid chocolate-brown tresses to bring richness and luxury to this winter's hair styles. Erin advises shading Burnt Toffee with Dark Mocha for texture as well as gloss.
Add depth to blonde hair this winter. It will lower maintenance and promote more shine for dehydrated summer hair. Light Mocha is used for depth with Sandstone and Clean Vanilla highlights to give a modern hair style tonal effect, Erin says.
Men's hair style moves into longer cuts for winter. Edges are softer and hand chiselled to give a "grown out" look to the shape, yet the interior is short. Texture is big with men's hair style for winter; add product to get the "undone" look, Erin says.
