Jennifer Aniston Hairstyles secrets

Jennifer Aniston ever young hairstyle secrets

Jennifer Aniston long hairstyle pictured above is a fresh move away from the "friends TV" hairstyle we are used to seeing Most women approach their 40th birthday with a sense of dread - their best years are behind them and a never-ending battle with wrinkles and sagging skin lies ahead. But not Jennifer Aniston. Holidaying in the exclusive Mexican resort of Los Cabos this month, the actress - who turns 40 on February 11 - showed off a bikini body that wouldn't look out of place on a 20-something supermodel.

No wonder toyboy John Mayer, 31, can't stay away. Add to this her recent photo shoot, where she wore nothing but a tie and a smile, and there's no doubt Jen has never looked better. So what's her secret? We need to know - and now! Fabulous donned its detective hat and found out how Jen stays looking so young

BODY BEAUTIFUL

Sadly, figures like Jennifer's don't come naturally - they have to be worked for. The actress has a personal yoga guru, Mandy Ingber, who is also one of her best friends. They see each other at least five times a week, and Jen concentrates on an 80-minute hard-core fitness routine that combines yoga, martial arts and cardio.

"The key is fun - she and Mandy spend time gossiping and laughing as well as working out," a Hollywood insider reveals.

NEW ATKINS AND BLOODY MARYS

Jen has always watched her weight, and recently converted to the New Atkins diet. Unlike the old one, it includes small portions of healthy carbs like wholegrain bread, brown rice and pasta. And instead of bacon, fried eggs and burgers, the New Atkins recommends grilled chicken, poached eggs, lean red meat and seafood.

"Jennifer has foods like pasta, steak and fresh fruit but always has an eye on balanced nutrition and small portions," a pal says. But Jen does allow herself the occasional tipple - she loves Bloody Marys. And if she feels like she's put on a pound or two, she'll occasionally cut out her favourite pasta for a few days and replace it with raw vegetables.

RADIANT SKIN

As a Californian native, Jennifer loves the rays too much to stop sunbathing. But she combats the damage with facials from Hollywood skin guru Kate Somerville, who uses non-invasive treatments to mimic the effects of laser peels and facelifts.

Jen is also a fan of the Dr Hauschka skincare range, along with fellow evergreens Kylie and Julia Roberts. Jen says: "I use Dr Hauschka moisturiser during the day and my SK-II eye cream. I wash my face every night and morning with the same thing I've used since high school - Neutrogena cleansing bar."

HOT HAIR

Ever since the famous 'Rachel cut', Jen's hair has been her most outstanding feature. She's always changing her look but the one constant is hair stylist Chris McMillan, who's now a close friend.

When Jen and Brad Pitt broke up, she went to live with Chris for a while. And after her brief split with John Mayer last year, she was straight on the phone for a haircut. "She and Chris have an amazing relationship. They both love to experiment but like to keep things simple to show off her glossy locks," our source said.

SURGERY SECRETS

There have been rumours but Jen has always denied she's had plastic surgery, except having her nasal septum fixed. "As boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it," she says.

HOLS 'N' HOUSEKEEPERS

Jen works hard - she did four films last year - but doesn't have to cook and clean when she gets home, as she has housekeepers and chefs. And when she feels like a holiday, she takes one, using her private jet. Our source said: "She loves spending time with Courteney Cox Arquette and her daughter Coco. It makes her remember what's important in life." And with a life like hers, is it any wonder Jen looks so good? THROUGH THE JEN-ERATIONS.
